My name is Charley Knott, I am 19, and have been living in Australia for 14 years!
My story
I grew up as a competitive dancer and have lots of interest in sport.
I have worked ski seasons at ski resorts aswell! Working as a rental technician and spending my days snowboarding after work or during breaks!
I like to make the most of my days. I love all the people in my life dearly and always make the best effort to make them happy.
Why Bright Star?
I'm excited to be able to make a real difference in peoples lives and see the positive impact I love seeing people grow and supporting people to try things that are new.
Being a support worker is so rewarding and motivating and I'm excited to take part in others' lives!
What are my likes?
In my free time I enjoy the beach and exercising (like gym, running, and sports). I like to paint, even if I’m not very good at it and I am quite creative. I enjoy watching new movies in the cinema and going shopping or running errands. I love going on adventures and finding new places.
There isn’t much I avoid, I’m open to everything. I love learning new things!

What does my work look like?
I'm a support worker so my work looks different every day because everyone has different support needs. I can be someone to talk to, someone to support around the home, and someone you can be yourself around.
