Réna, Support Worker

I have always been drawn to roles where caring and compassion was high on the agenda and Bright Star enables me to do this. I am able to play to my strengths and am rewarded with the opportunity to support and care for some amazing people.

I love my clients and those that I get to spend time with at work. I’ve been lucky enough to assist others and value all the connections that I’ve made. I live day to day with chronic illness so I have a huge appreciation for the needs and wants of families within Bright Star.

Elah, Support Worker & Program Coordinator

I value working at Bright Star, first and foremost because they are Autistic-led and value neuro-affirming support. Their values of compassion and kindness resonate with me and I love that we are encouraged and expected to take on a holistic approach with our clients and the important people in their lives.
